Design Week Genova 2019

A widespread exhibition involving sixty designers, between individuals and companies, occupies more than fifty locations: 16 atriums of historic buildings, 13 of the Rolli circuit, squares, open commercial activities, but also some abandoned places that will raise the shutters for the occasion.
From Thursday 23rd to Monday 27th May local design excellence unites to bring the vanguard of national and international fashion houses into the heart of ancient Genoa.
Presented on Tuesday 21 May at the Chamber of Commerce, the Genoa Design Week offers a dense program of events that for four days will animate the historic center in the area bounded by Canneto il Lungo, Via San Bernardo, Canneto il Curto and Via San Lorenzo, with a ideal center in piazza Giustiniani.
“A neighborhood, that of Giustiniani, unjustly ‘almost forgotten’ that for almost a week we wanted to dress up – says Elisabetta Rossetti, president of the Design District – and, with the formula of widespread exposure, we will use the halls of the buildings to create a symbiosis of beauty between past and design».
The Genoa Design Week is organized by the DiDe – District of Design Genoa association under the patronage of the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Genoa, the 1st Central-East Municipality, the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and Confcommercio, with the collaboration of the Order and the Architects Foundation and the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa.

Milan Design Week 2019

Din – Design In returns for the seventh year. An international design event that will take place from 9 to 14 April 2019 at the Milan Design Week. After the success of the previous 6 editions, it confirms its presence within the most stimulating district of Milan Design Week: the Lambrate Design District, where visitors can lose themselves in quality exhibitions created by designers and independent entrepreneurial realities, schools and international academies.
The exhibition venue is a former 2,000 sqm industrial warehouse, where Promotedesign.it creates an experiential journey by carefully finding and selecting innovative brands, young labels and historic brands to show the best that the contemporary design scene has to offer.
In previous editions, Din – Design In hosted over 800 realities from more than 80 different nations who showed their design ideas, describing the design process that led to the creation of the object and highlighted the distinctive features of each single country.
